Dr. Ara Tekian held a lecture in AGBU Demirdjian Center on Sunday 8 July 2007.

Dr. Ara presented the historic journey to Mount Ararat with a group of Armenian historians & scholars. This pilgrimage took place last August.

He described with slide projection the adventurous road from Yerevan to summit of Ararat, passing through historic eastern Armenian cities & villages.

Tekian said: "The sense of achievement & pride was overwhelming … It was a pilgrimage for me to trace my roots & when the journey was over I was a different person. I acquired confidence & determination that there is nothing impossible in life … ".
